Reading the Lawrence University Alumni magazine, I learned today of Nat’s passing. He and I were good friends and co-photographers for the school paper and yearbook. I have many good memories of Nat because of his qualities that so many others have listed here. Farewell my friend.

I was very sad to hear the news of Nat's passing, via Wayne Boucher's lovely tribute on the radio this morning. I consider myself fortunate that I was the recipient of Nat's warm (and crusty!) hospitality while I stayed at The Moorings, and in every encounter with him after that. He will be truly missed.

Susan;
Bill and I were saddened to hear of Nat’s passing. We have great memories of the Starving Artists Ball back in the day. Nat was a vibrant member of the community and will be dearly missed.

Dear Susan and Family,
I was saddened to read of Nat's passing in the paper today. He was absolutely one of the sweetest men I have ever known. I recall many times over the years of sitting with you both in your kitchen discussing current events and laughing at human foibles ( and, of course, some insane costumes).
The memories I have of Nat are lasting, fond, and heart-warming. How I treasure those wonderful times in his company. Sincere condolences from Jacquie, me, and my family.

I will always remember Nat's elegance as one of the Company of Angels, in 'Dancing in the Third Act'. And that elegance defined his life. He will be remembered.

What an enormous legacy Nat leaves behind for his family, his friends, and his community. While he will be so missed, the people he touched in his lifetime will keep his memory vibrant. Nat (and Sue) have always, and will continue to, inspire me.

I was so sorry to hear of Nat's illness and subsequent passing. He was a lovely, talented, funny fellow, with his quick smile and wry comments. I enjoyed his dancing, too!
Our thoughts are with you, Susan and family.
