Nancie, I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I will always remember him for his great sense of humour. I will also remember him from when I was a reservations agent at the Pan when he "shopped" other hotels. His voice was memorable as well as his interesting questiong regard hotel inventory.

I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen him, I still remember his huge grin and boisterous laughter that rang through the offices at Hotel Vancouver. Nancie, my thoughts are with you.

Dear Nancie and Scott; It is with a heavy heart that I send my thoughts, prayers, and strength to you both. Bob was one of those people you are lucky enough to meet in life who is forever imprinted upon you. A tremendous friend, colleague, and mentor. He forced the best from you, and made you better for it. He was honest with you, and you could trust him with anything. I will forever remember his great humor, wisdom, conversation, and the great laugh he had. He lives on in so very many.

We are saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Back in our school days when I was the new kid in the neighbourhood I was quickly befriended by Bob and his friendship, not to mention his humour and joy of life, meant a lot to me. I am sure that there are many others who treasure the memories of those same qualities that Bob exemplified and shared so willingly. My condolences to all the family. With affection ... Bill and Helen Matheson

Dearest Nancie, Cannot express how sad we are to learn of Bob`s passing. We were all so very fortunate to have had him in our lives and we will miss him dearly. We were back in Vancouver last week and all I could think of were the places he would send me for his treats...Rocky Mountain Chocolatier, White Spot, Starbucks for his Cocoa’s and of course Griffins - we all have such GREAT memories of him. He was so special and will always hold a dear place in our hearts! Please know that you and Scott are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Lots of love your friends always, Mary & Matthew
