My wife and I had many a happy get together with Pat and Ken in the time they lived in Beamsville ON. I had several professional causes along with Pat (and Ken). Too many wonder full memories to list here, but they live in my memory and my heart. I lost contact with the Banks since the late ‘90s. I wish I had found them before now. In case you read this, Ken, Barb died in Dec 2013. I putz along and am working on my 94th year. I’m still in Dundas.

It was heartbreaking to hear the news of Pat leaving us. Frank and I feel so privileged that we got to know Pat and Ken. We will never forget their hospitality at their Christmas party.Their Victorian house was full of
friends, family and neighbours having great time eating, drinking and signing Christmas Carols in the town of Beamsville. It was a unique experience of Christmas.
We saw Pat for the last time on May 27 on her 50 year wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time celebrating and remembering the sixties that brought this beautiful couple together. Her joy was contagious even though she seemed a bit weak and tired Pat, was still herself a gracious, caring person who let every one feel loved and special. We will always remember her this way

So saddened to just learn of Pat’s passing. In our few emails this year, the last one on July 10, I continued to read her optimistism and eagerness to get to the Fundy shore. Our condolences to you, Ken and your grieving family, on the loss of such a generous, patient and well humoured lady. I know many have been touched by her caring and friendship. May you find peace and comfort in the love of those who care about you.

It was with great sadness I heard of Pat’s passing. She was one of the nicest, caring, and loving women I had the privilege to call a friend. We had a good chat a few weeks ago which I will always remember. She was so gracious, had a smile and easy manner with everyone. She will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Goodbye dear friend.

I'm so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. She was my Mom's best friend for many years and was like a second mom to me growing up. I will miss her sense of humour and warmth. I know that she and Suzanne are partying now and sharing some laughs over wine like they did so many times in life. My sincerest condolences go out to Ken, Wendy, Chris and Joel. Pat was one of a kind and will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. Truly an beautiful soul, Pat possessed the grace that made those around her feel special. She will have a wonderful legacy in her children and in the many people she helped in her work and community. As a child I remember Pat at holiday dinners being a beautiful and wise cousin who took an interest in what we younger ones were doing. An evening with adults seemed better with Pat there - she always had an observation on the topic of conversation that made the talk in the room more lively. I also admired her for being a member of the Raging Grannies. The group's name seemed a bit of a stretch for her because she was anything but raging but she did have deeply held progressive views that she actively pursued. I was very happy to see Pat at my brother Colin's house in the last few years. She seemed the same as ever - sympathetic, engaged and happy. That is how I will remember her. Our hearts go out to Ken and Pat's family.
