Dear aunt Jenetta, rest in peace awaiting a time when Jehovah God will remember all those asleep in death and call them back to life, to be reunited with loved ones, (Acts 24:15), when death will be no more in God's Kingdom.

Dear Janetta's Family,
I was so sorry to read today of Janetta's passing. We were related and she always helped me with genalogy research. For any years, hers was the first Christmas card and letter that I got ready each year. I will miss her wise wisdom.
May your happy memories help you through these sad days as you gather to say your goodbyes.
Sincerely,
Rosemary Rafuse

Boyd, Carol & Cecil, We have many fond memories of visiting Janetta, Willie & Boyd at your cozy little home in Hampton, with each one anxious to tell "their story"....a remarkable family spirit. I loved her stories about Willie returning from the war and coming to her schoolroom and how he carried her over some water when they were visiting family "out South". The first time I visited, Willie glowed as he told me of Janetta's accomplishments over the years. I said to her, "that sounds like a man who loves his wife," and she replied, "And I love him." Then she told me the highlights of Willie's life and got out the photo albums to back it up.
Her mittens were works of art and I don't think she ever stopped knitting while living at home. Your mum had a wonderful sense of humour and I'll always remember her reciting poetry and limericks.
Your mum had tremendous faith in her God. She loved to pray and when in hospital at Kentville, she so looked forward to our coming so we could have a "prayer meeting" as she called it.
Life wasn't always kind to Janetta but she met it head on, then moved on, holding no grudges or regrets. She loved you and was always concerned about you--she was a special mum--you can be very proud of all her accomplishments. When I think of her, I think of the "wife of noble character" in Proverbs 31 & I've taken a bit of license with it: "Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but she surpasses them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but Janetta who feared the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise."
Bob and I wish to express our most heartfelt condolences to the family. We will never forget her kindness and her life that was ruled by love. Sincerely (Pastor) Heather & Bob

All my love to those who loved Janetta dear. The community was never the same after loosing Janetta. I used to stop by, in the heat of summer to see her cooking a roast over the wood stove, while knitting at the table. I will always remember her definitive laugh.
Rest in peace Janetta.
