Our hearts go out to you and the family as you face this most difficult time. What an amazing thing it will be when loved ones will be woken up from their sleep and come back to life. This is a hope that keeps us going, because we too, have lost many of our loved ones. As Psalms 37:9-11, 29 promises, soon, we’ll all enjoy life on this earth at a time when there will be no more, pain, sickness, or death.

I am so sorry for your loss, she truly was an amazing woman with an equally amazing heart and soul. I truly feel blessed to have known her and always enjoyed the kindness that radiated from her. I have a quilt she made my son and when my mother passed she brought us food and hugs. I would drop by when visiting Bear River and she would always have treats for my kids and something baking in her oven to offer us. She will be sadly missed. Jennette, Tom, Mason and Lauren.

To Arden, Blair and Cathy, Kerry, Dawna, Ashley and Emma also Roxy:
Our thoughts are with you all in the loss of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister...Hazel was a very sweet lady who was loved by many. She taught our daughter Leah at Sunday school. She got everyone, young and old, interested in what she was saying because she used such expression and joy in telling a story you never wanted it to end. I have to admit she was my role model for when I started to teach Sunday school I also tried to show that same joy in telling a story. She shared with me when I was visiting she and mom at MLL that she was spoken to for getting too expressive when teaching the children at school. Her reply to that was "well I want them to get excited about what they are learning so they remember it!" She was one of Bear River's best cooks especially her marshmallow (often pink or green) squares. I have made them but they were never as good as Hazels. Whenever there was an event, I looked for those squares. She was a fantastic actress as well sharing her talents in so many skits that brought tears to our eyes from laughing so hard. Hazel contributed so much to us as young people, she never minded when all us teens arrived at her house with Arden! Bear River has lost a most wonderful person who brought much joy, laughter and love to those who knew her. May God be with each one of you at this time and bring you comfort and peace as you think about your own precious memories.
Our love and sympathy, Leigh, Gloria and family.
