Our deepest condolences to the Smith family; it has been many years since we last saw Marge; but when we first moved to Bridgetown in 1969, for many years we met for various functions, ie Liberal elections as well. She was a lovely person, always smiling and we enjoyed her so very much.
Thinking of you all at this time, Paula and Laurie Montgomery

I extend my deepest sympathy to Doug and Marg's four sons and their families in the loss of Marg. I got to know Marg during her stay in Cardinal wing at Mountain Lea when I would entertain every two weeks. To say she had "a hint of mischief" is putting it mildly - she seemed to enjoy life to the fullest.

When my Dad's cousin Margaret was a nursing student in Yarmouth, she came to our house occasionally, maybe for a home cooked meal, I do not remember the reason, but at the time she was my heroine. To go to the Spicer's in Paradise was a planned event, a very long drive at the time, and now, here she was less than 3 miles away from us, so very much a grown-up.
Her Spicer smile and Bain complexion remembered forever.
Condolences to Margaret's sons and families, to Paul and family, to Clayton and family, to Janet and family and the families of Jim, Eileen, Wayne.

Dear Smith Family: I feel very sad this morning to see the passing of my dear friend, Marg. I know she has not been well and I have not seen her for many years but she was always in my thoughts. The Smith family was very important to the Rice family from parents down to children. We all grew up together. I shall always remember and be grateful for the kindness and attention that Marg and Doug gave to my Mother, Rose. It gave me great peace of mind to know what good neighbours Mother had.
Wish I could be at her service but will be thinking of you all on Saturday. She was a truly wonderful friend to our family.
With sympathy and love to all of you at this time,
Alyce (Feindel)

I am sorry to hear of Marg's passing. My favorite memories of her as a child were the pottery lessons and the New Years Day get together's on the Saunders Road with Buzz and Hilda.. Marg always had a smile on her face. I think that she and Doug are likely casting a line on Milbury these days, and no need for a license now:) You were a fortunate family to have such a spirited woman around for all those years. I will raise a toast to her:) XO
