On behalf of the Acadia University Senate, I am writing to extend condolences to you, her family. My gratitude for her service as a teacher at Acadia is also personal since I was her student in her classes at Acadia in the 1970's. Though my personal career path has led me far from those days in tailoring lab, I can still hear her full laugh at some goof I made and picture in memory the quality of attention and care for "her girls." My gratitude for her presence and devotion to excellence in her teaching will stay with me and with members of our academic community.
