Obituary of Muriel Josephine Godfrey

Godfrey, Muriel Josephine - 96 of Bridgetown, passed away February 6, 2015, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Upper Granville, she was a daughter of the late John and Una (Durling) Barteaux. Muriel always had a smile and hug for everyone. She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable garden, and was a member of the flower committee and the BWF at the Bridgetown Baptist Church. Muriel and her husband Stanley were members of the Bridgetown Baptist Church and where custodians for over 40 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Stanley; son, Wayne (Judy), Middle Sackville; grandchildren, Matthew, Steven and Sarah; sisters, Ruby Gillis, Halifax and Mary Moore, Round Hill; brother, Andrew (Barb), Ontario. She was predeceased by sisters, Goldie Smidtz, Margaret Guest, Mildred Bouche, Shirley Shaffner and Laura Walker; brothers, Francis and Raymond. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral and Cremation Service, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday, February 9, in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Bridgetown Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. By request family flowers only.
