Dear Harlow Family. I have only recently learned of your loss, but would like to express my sincere condolences for the loss, on behalf of my husband and I and my brother, Brian Slocum and family and mother, Audrey Slocum.
We remember well your family and knew Timothy and Jane from Bridgetown high, and remember well lovely Ann who was a friend of our sister, Carol, who we also sadly lost in 1975. I just want to express our sadness for your loss. From our study of the Bible, we certainly have strong reason to believe in a future resurrection to welcome back those we lost in death. In the meantime, we hope it brings you a measure of comfort, knowing that we care and remember your family fondly. Very sincerely , Joanne, Brian Audrey and families

I was fortunate to have made the acquaintance of this very fine gentleman and enjoyed his company and humour as we cajoled him into a few games of bridge when he visited here in Montreal. It is evident that he enjoyed a very full and rewarding life but final goodbyes are never easy and I sincerely offer my sympathies and condolences in this time of loss. May the memories of the many great times and pleasures that this dear man provided, carry you through this sad time.

Dear Mrs Harlow and family.
May I say when I was introduced to Mr Harlow in Bridgetown as part of the Mainstreet program, I came to admire his many sterling qualities. As we later met on and off over the years in tourism related activities and in just chance meetings, my opinion has never changed.
With warm regards to all of you

I was truly sorry to hear of Mr. Harlow's passing. I have fond memories of the many visits to your home and how very welcomed you both made me feel.
I remember watching many a hockey game in the TV room with the entire family. You may recall, I wasn't a Bruins fan.
I will always think of the Harlow's as a very much well liked and respected family in our little town. I know Danny will be missed by many.

To the Harlow family and friends:
There are people who touch your life and leave an indelible mark. Danny Harlow was one of those. A patriot and soldier, loyal and devoted husband and father, successful businessman and sportsman, warm and humorous, sincere and direct, there was no ambiguity about him; what you saw with Danny was what you got; and what you got was a refreshing homey honesty. He was smart when he needed to be smart. Fun loving and adventurous, he was a man's man.
In our complicated and convoluted world he had the ability to reduce issues to fundamentals. He lived the values we all should aspire to-sincerity, integrity, honesty, directness, loyalty, affection, bravery, humor and he did it quite naturally because that is who he really was.
You are forever etched in our hearts. Peace to you Danny Harlow

Hi, Nathalie, Jane and Tim,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Jane telling me not long ago that she needed to be back in the Valley because her Dad was not very well. I hope you are glad that you made that loving, kind and appreciative decision, Jane. Within the past year, I found a letter from Danny written in 1973 telling me ADL would contribute to my Canada Games Soccer on condition that I got my scraggly hair cut and that Jane be the barber!
Please accept my sincere condolences at this very difficult time for you all.

It is ironic that the death of someone who gave us the greatest joy in life causes us to feel the greatest pain by their death. Thankfully you will have the memories of the pleasure and love he gave you in your
lives together to sustain you. We are very grateful to have known him. We will miss his twinkling eyes, his impish spirit & his sense of humour. We are sorry we can not be there to wish him farewell & God speed. With much love & affection, Kathy & Gord
