Potter, Grant Royce - 46 It is with heavy hearts we announce Grant's passing on Sept. 16, 2010 on Parker Mtn Road, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Annapolis Royal he was the son of Glen and Viola (Oliver) Potter, Parkers Cove. He was a graduate of Annapolis West Education Centre, Acadia University and New Brunswick Bible Institute. He worked as the Recreation Director for the Town of Annapolis Royal for many years. He came to know the Lord Jesus as Saviour as a young child and was a member of and served as a Deacon at Parkers Cove Baptist Church. He absolutely loved sports of every kind; especially hockey and softball and was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed all forms of nature and recreation; he loved to go beachcombing with his children and producing Parker Mountain Gold maple syrup. He constructed a floor hockey area upstairs in his barn and an outdoor rink for his children and many others from the neighbourhood. Survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Gina (Gregory) and his beloved daughters Vashti and Kyla and son Brett, whom he adored. He is also survived by brothers Darryl (Joy) Digby, Brad, Parker's Cove, Mark, Parker Mtn. Road and sisters, Lana (Hammonds Plains) and Jane (John), Parker's Cove. Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 18 from 7-9 in the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with a celebration of Grant's life to be held 2p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 at Parkers Cove Baptist Church, Parker's Cove, N.S. Pastor Steven Hiltz officiating. Interment will be at Parker's Cove Cemetery, Parker's Cove. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made a trust fund for the children or to Parker's Cove Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal.
