Mary and I first met sitting at Lake Midway while our children were in swimming lessons. It didn’t take long to discover she was friends, through Guiding, with my best friend in Toronto. Once settled in Sandy Cove Mary joined our Digby Neck Guiding community and with her help, we raised funds to take our senior girls to London and Iceland in 2000. Thank you, Mary, for your friendship and community spirit.
