Obituary of Brian Andrew Heembrock
Brian Andrew Heembrock was born September 18th, 1963, in Ottawa, ON. He passed away June 15th, 2023. In February of 1982 he met his wife, Andrea (nee Richardson) at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, AB where they were both enrolled in the Culinary Arts program. Their hearts recognized one another instantly and sighed…’Oh there you are.’ They married in August 1986 in Calgary. In August 1988 they lost their infant daughter, Ashley Lynn. Their son, Mackenzie was born in April 1992. Brian adored being a father to Mackenzie and was looking forward to being a grandfather. The family moved to Carman, MB in 1999 and lived there until 2016. In September 2016 they moved to their final home in Port Royal, NS along with Brian’s parents, Robert, and Natalie, who moved from Calgary. In February 2020 he lost his mother Mary Natalie. Just before his passing, Brian was thrilled to meet his grandson, Andrew Douglas, born June 11th, 2023. Besides, his wife, Andrea, Brian also leaves behind his son Mackenzie (Jill), grandson Andrew Douglas, father, Robert, brothers Rob (Sandy) and Peter (Roberta), nephew Tynan (Andrea), nieces, Sara (Justen) and Natalie (Jake), and great niece Emelia. Never has there been a better man, husband, father, brother or son. For such a quiet soul, he had a way of endearing himself to others. He had a wry sense of humour and excellent comic timing. He loved his dogs, Willow, and Barclay. He leaves a legacy of love, kindness, and friendship.
