Obituary of Eugene Claude Casey

Casey, Eugene Claude – 86 of Granville Ferry, passed away April 13, 2023, in the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Port Wade, he was a son of the late Earl and Nina (Longmire) Casey.  Eugene loved buying and selling cars; loved to fish and go to casino’s playing poker.  He enjoyed spending time in his rocking chair out on the back deck enjoying time with family and friends.  He is survived by his longtime caregiver, Dorothy Ellis; three children, Peter Casey, Joanne Humphrey and Paula Casey; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; two siblings.  He was predeceased by his parents; son, Michael Casey; five siblings.  Following Eugene’s wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time.   Donations in memory may be made to the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal or the Canadian Cancer Society.  On line condolences may be made by visiting www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
