My sisters and I grew up with Blaine! His mom and our mom were sisters. BLaine lived just a mile down the road with his mom and Grammie Taylor on the Throne road.We rode the school bus and all went to school together! occasionally Blaine and his mom visited with us .in our Log cabin on the Morse road! Then Blaine caught the bus with us! I can still hear his moms voice saying to him before we got on the bus Blaine tell nothing yu hear,nothing you see and be a good boy on the bus!Blaine was a devoted son and grand son! He quit school early to go to work full time to help support his family!! We shall all miss him and we were so happy for him and Rose! He now had someone in his life to love him and they took care of each other! Rest In Peace dear cousin and thank you for being such a wonderful caring person.

My sincere regards to Blaine's family. He was as described, always willing to lend a helping hand. Open and honest. I knew him during my time as Mainstreet co-ordinator in Bridgetown many years ago. Blaine always had such a great sense of humour. I recall at his wedding reception he said "well, I have shaken hands with all the men and kissed all the women so I guess I am done. Little did my husband Jim, Baine's cousin, know that they were both in VRH emergency at the same time. Jim has been there since March 28th, could not break and now has covid. Blaine introduced me to Jim in 1960 so we go back quite a few years. Rest in Peace Blaine, you will be so sadly missed. Joan and Jim Taylor

I can’t believe it.
He was a huge part of my early years. I had to go to Aunt Aggie’s pretty much every day after school until I was 12. I thought Blaine had some of the coolest collectable toys I had ever seen! He really didn’t like me playing with them, but he let me do so anyway because he knew it made me happy.
Whenever I went to the Red & White he’d slice me off a big hunk of pepperoni, definitely worth more than the dollar he charged me for it. He kept us supplied with blueberries and of course Tim Horton’s coffee.
To me, that was Blaine. He always thought of others before himself. He was a giver. He was a good man and my heart goes out to Rose, the woman who finally captured Blaine’s heart.
The Beeler girls always thought of Blaine as the brother they never had. And the “Can’t Dance Too Fat To Fly” shirt is one that he wore constantly back in those days so I’m glad I have the photo of it to share.
Even though he was technically a cousin to me, he’ll always be my Uncle Blaine.

I believe I have known Blaine my entire life. I frequented the Red and White as a kid for candy and often watched him cutting up the meat at the back of the store. My parents were so fond of Blaine and I am so sad to hear of his passing. RIP Blaine and my sincere condolences to your family.
