We are just learning of the passing of Father Neish and want to send our condolences to the family. I have many memories of spending time with Mary as little girls and then, with Mary and Kevin as we grew older. I’ll never forget Donald’s loving tears as he watched Mary walk down the aisle at their wedding. We wish you many loving memories of Donald as the holidays approach and you take part in Christmas traditions. - Lisa (Carter) and David Davies

Condolences to Sarah and family. I remember both you playing Annapolis Royal golf course especially letting you through as you played the par 3 layout. Walking my dog Jax in the Ferry, we often met Donald on his walk. Jax would recognize him from a distance and quickly trained Donald that a dog cookie was welcome .

Our sincerest sympathy to your family on the passing of a devouted husband and father. Jean remembers Donald shouting the hymn to the rooftops as she played the old pump organ at his church in Antigonish. Your kind hospitality at the time of a summer drought in Nova Scotia was a challenge but not for you, Sarah who greeted life with action and a smile.

Our Condolences to Sarah and the Neish family from Peter Shute, Susan Zimmermann and Lily Zimmermann-Shute as well as Nat, Emily, and Ben Shute.
Uncle Donald was special. From my early childhood, He stood out as someone who knew who he was, and knew where he was going. He could command the tides of the Annapolis Basin and they would obey! On that bet, he never lost, and Donald didn't particularly like losing. But if you ever wanted someone to lead the way, you would turn to Donald. He was a commanding figure, lovable and dignified, loving and dedicated to his family, and we loved him dearly. The world was a better place having him here.

Dear Sarah and Family: It was with shock and great sadness that I read of Rev. Neish's (Donald's) passing and I send my deepest condolences to you. I am thankful for the opportunity to get to know him through the work of the Annapolis Ecumenical Church Council. I especially appreciated his teaching and his kind ways. He was a faithful man of God. Now I pray that the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, turn His face to you and give you peace, as only He can do. Love and Prayers, Rev. Elizabeth Legassie

So sorry to hear of Rev Neish’s passing. He was a wonderful, kind man and had a great laugh. He married us 40 years ago this year, and baptized both our children. When we joined our parish, he became fast friends with my Dad, Alan Faulkner, who always spoke highly of him. My condolences to the whole family.
