Brenda & Valerie - What a beautiful tribute you wrote for your mom. You really captured who your Mom was. We were blessed when she joined our church family for a few years while Pastor Waterman ministered at Bear River Baptist. Her smile and love for Christ were a joy to our congregation and we missed her when she was no longer able to be with us. She shared her poetry and love of music and the depth of her faith was evident. Also evident was her love for her family and her appreciation of how they cared and showed their love for her. Alice was amazing. Her faith carried her through some of the hardest trials imaginable, and she always came out in the end with that amazing smile that gave courage to everyone who saw it. The Holy Spirit empowered her to write hundreds of songs that I hope will continue blessing the world until the Lord's return. She was also a dear friend who would often reach out to me in my darkest moments. May she always be remembered for the light of encouragement and joy she so generously bestowed on all of us.
Dear Valerie and Brenda, I was shocked and saddened to hear about Alice. The last I heard she was doing well. She will be missed by many. Mom's are forever in your heart as I lost my mom (Pat) 1 year ago today. Not a day passes I do not think of her / both of them. Treasure all the daily thoughts of your togetherness.
