I remember Sarah from our earliest days as students at Granville Ferry Elementary School. She was shy but such a very nice schoolmate with her beautiful dark hair, dark twinkling eyes and beautiful smile. I didn't know her as an adult but I expect she just became more and more kind, beautiful, smart and loving. I was blessed to have her as a friend at such an important time in my life when children can be mean and hurtful. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you celebrate the life of such a lovely person.

I was heartbroken to hear that Sarah has joined the angels and the news is hard to digest. My thoughts are with Larry, the grandchildren, her siblings and the entire extended family. I feel blessed to have seen her when I was home in Nova Scotia in the spring following a long pandemic....her smile was infectious as usual! I was always touched by her interest in my life in Ottawa and we had some great chats about the history of our region in Nova Scotia, Port Royal and the indigenous heritage of the area. We shared a love for Atlantic history; I will miss these conversations and I will miss her. She was a beloved aunt that was so generous and kind. A tremendous loss for the family, but I know that she is resting easy now amongst our dearly departed. Sending my deepest condolences to Larry and my entire family in Nova Scotia.

My deepest condolences to Larry & family. Sarah’s was one of a kind, we made a lot of memories together. We would get in messes but would always figure a way out of it . One of my great memories with Sarah was when Wanda and I took her to one of her appointments in the city . We was driving along and of course talking and we missed the street we was supposed to take! I told Sarah hang on we are doing a U turn! You should have seen the look on her face! She just busted out laughing and said now that was fun ! We got her to her appointment safe and sound. We laughed all the way home , she really had a great day . Sarah loved it when we would gang up on larry all in fun mind you ! There’s one Birthday prank we played on larry that poor Sarah had a hard time holding it in . She got Leanne in on it as well with the jar of blue jelly beans I won’t say no more but some know! Poor Larry was so embarrassed!! When she would get frustrated with larry she would say “larry go to the barn “ ! Those little moments made great memories that I will hold close to my ♥️ There’s many more memories we have just to many to mention. I thought the world of Sarah and larry as well,i was always ready to help when needed. I was just a phone call away day or night. I always showed up snow storm and all. She always looked forward to seing me and that made my day . She often talked about Leanne and kept me updated on her education, she was very proud of you Leanne ! She also would talk about the boys Aidan and Rémi , she loved them dearly . Sarah you have fought a hard battle now you can rest easy and at peace with Lee and Terri . Miss you tremendously,I know you will be watching over us . See you later my friend til we meet again ♥️

Sarah was a beautiful person inside and out , we worked together at Casey`s Fisheries many years ago , we were two peas in a pod so to speak , what one never thought of the other one did and we kept each other in stitches most everyday , we worked hard but had fun at the same time , she will be missed by all .

We are heartbroken to be writing this today. Sarah and I went to school together, we worked together, and basically have known each other our entire lives. Sarah and Larry’s children were the same ages as our children, and all friends. Daryl and Larry grew up as neighbours, and their parents before. Although we haven’t seen as much of them in recent years, we tried to keep in touch in good times and bad. Sarah and Larry have faced many challenges, but they were always there for each other. Now, Larry, we offer our sincere condolences, as you begin another journey. Please know that we are here for you any time. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Love
Daryl and Debbie
