I will always have fond memories playing hockey in the winter and ball hockey in the summer with David in his back yard.

I have such fond memories of David. When we would come to visit, he would never let us take his picture. I had just bought a digital camera for one of our trips. I was able to get some pictures of him without him knowing. He finally figured it out though. I loved our walks together along the old railway track and playing games with the whole family. Won't be the same without you David. I love you and will miss you.
Your cousin Linda.

David never liked having his picture taken so I know he'll most likely be angry with me for posting these (smile) For some unknown reason he would allow my cousins, Donna, Linda & Dorelle to snap him on their visits & at times he would even pose! (again I smile) The last photo is the only known pic of our family all together...it was a mistake, it was snapped just as Dave walked by but I love it because it is all of us. I love you my brother & I'll miss you always.

This comment goes along with the the original 21 pics I posted & the 6 later photos of David on the next page. They are posted singly. Kaulbach's posted for me as I was having trouble. The picture I am referring to as being the only one in existence is the photo of Dad, Mom & I with David walking by. It' the first one on the next page.

So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I played basketball at BRHS in the 90's and always remember Dave taking stats, never missing a game. A great man.

Sue, a fine tribute to your brother! He was a devoted brother and son and will be missed. I was lucky to go with your Mom and Dad to pick blueberries each year, when your Dad passed David stepped up and took your Mom and I to the blueberry farm. I always enjoyed picking the berries and of course the picnic lunch at noon. You and your Mom have some wonderful memories, cherish them. Hugs to you and Gertie!

I extend my deepest condolences to David's family. I met David while playing sports at BRHS in the 1990s. He was a great statistician but more importantly a great person. I don't think anyone could ever thank him enough for all the time he spent recording statistics and games and cheering teams on. Every time I am "home" in the Valley and drive by his house Round Hill, I think of him-- and will continue to do so. Margaret-Ellen Messinger

Sending deepest condolences to the family. David was such a nice person and always stopped to have a chat and ask me how the girls were doing. He will be missed at every sporting event and sitting on the bleachers taking videos for all the graduating athletes. I’m really going to miss his presence. Rest In Peace David. Angie Cress

I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear of David’s untimely passing. My children and grandchildren all played in sports at BRHS and David was always there. I can’t imagine not seeing him at the games. I will miss

So saddened to read this - he was indeed a fixture at sports events and I enjoyed talking to him at the soccer field or the rink. He was so genuinely interested in the kids and how they improved over the years. I feel privileged to have the video of all my daughter’s soccer games- something that he gifted to each of the kids when they graduated. Such a loss for the community. So sorry for your loss - I can feel the love you had in the words of your tribute.
