Webber, Barbara Louise – 94, of Upper Granville, passed away February 3, 2021, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Jean A. (Morrison) and Arthur Chute. Barbara was raised in Hopedale, Massachusetts. In her younger years Barbara worked for the phone company. In 1969 she moved to Clifford, Ontario. She married Alan “Bud” Webber. In 1989 she moved to Bridgetown then to Digby for many years before settling in Upper Granville. Barbara was a diehard Blue Jays Fan and loved watching golf. She was a member of the Bridgetown Baptist Church and Atlantic Baptist Women. Barbara enjoyed reading the daily paper, jigsaw puzzles, reading, word search and family gatherings. She is survived by brother John Chute of Ephrata, PA; sister Betty (Leonard) Mellen of Mendon, Mass; nieces, Peggy (Rich) Vivola of Lititz, PA and Lorrie (John) Davies of Mendon MA; nephew, Dean Mellen of Boston MA ; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews; many cousins across Canada. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Alan “Bub ”; sister in-law, Jean. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to cousin Linda Phinney for the wonderful care and love given to Barbara. A funeral service will be held 3 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown, with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Covid 19 restrictions will be followed.
