Obituary of Nelson George Porteous

Porteous, Nelson George, 76 of Beaconsfield, Anna. Co. passed away Feb. 6, 2020 at home with his family by his side. Born in Hamiota, Manitoba he was a son of the late Wilfred and Evelyn (Douglas) Porteous. Nelson had many interests such as bee keeping, cycling, fishing, kayaking, and hiking, but his real passion was for running. He leaves to mourn his wife Lynne; son, Scott (Char); daughter, Sandy (James) and beloved grandchildren: Hailey (Alex) Jarrett, Jessa, Ian and Liana and cherished great grandchild Amellia. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. There will be no service at Nelson’s request Burial of ashes will be at Harding, Manitoba next to his parents. The family offer many many thanks to the VON and Palliative Care Services for their exemplary care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carey Me Fund.
