Obituary of Theta Agnes Jackson

Theta A. Jackson (Cromwell) -1926 – 2019 went to her heavenly home September 10, 2019. She was predeceased by her husband James; daughters–in– law, Elizabeth and Anne Marie; special friend Russell Stevenson and her nine siblings. Survived by her sons Everett, Toronto; Winston (Wanda), Elmsdale and Anthony (Donna) Truro; grandchildren, Mark (Gwen), Michael, Wade, Winnell, Wendy, Adam (April), Nicole (Dwayne); great grandchildren Kyle, Dante, Kynan, Ben, Myah and Arthur; several nieces and nephews. Theta grew up in Weymouth, raised her family in Inglewood and later moved to Crosskill Court and finally Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. She worked at Acadian Distillers for 28 years, enjoyed knitting, embroidery, singing, guitar playing, cards and especially dancing. She was a great community and church worker. Her vibrant personality made her easy to get to know, a joy to be around, and was described by many as a “sweet lady”. Very special Thank You to the staff of both Crosskill Court and Mountain Lea Lodge for all the laughter and loving care that you all provided. No visitation by family request. Funeral Service will be held 2:30 pm. Monday September, 16, in Inglewood United Baptist Church with Pastor Cathy Batson officiating. A reception will follow in the Inglewood Community Hall.
