Obituary of Judy Darlene Sabean
Sabean, Judy Darlene – Age 62
It is with great sadness the family of Judy Sabean announce her peaceful passing surrounded by family at the Heart of the Valley Long Term Care after a battle with brain cancer.
She was born December 19, 1956 to the late Lloyd and Zarna Cross. Judy is survived by long-time devoted partner of 25 years Fred; children: Evelina (Eddie), Jason (Jennifer); brothers: Dale, Kendall (Kathy); sisters: Elizabeth, Linda; her uncle Blair (Barb); best friend and cousin, Debbie (Bob); several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She worked for many years for Britex, Bridgetown and Michelin, Waterville. She also worked at the Spectator office in Annapolis Royal. She was a devoted member of 74th Crusaders Motorcycle Club for many years and had many friends. She enjoyed many shopping trips with her daughter and family gatherings on special occasions. She loved animals, especially her cat Suzie and being out in her gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff at Heart of the Valley Long Term Care for their wonderful care and support during the difficult time. We would also like to thank the staff at Annapolis Community Health Centre and Soldiers Memorial Hospital for their care.
A visitation will be held 7-9pm Friday, with a funeral service being held 2pm Saturday March 23, 2019 both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in St. Albans Cemetery.
Donations in Judy’s memory can be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada, Annapolis Community Health Centre Palliative Care or a charity of choice.
