Obituary of Hazel Louise Coldrick
Hazel Louise Coldrick, 98, of Digby, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2019 at the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home.
She was born to the late Blair and Alethia Morehouse, August 27, 1920, in Saint John, NB. Hazel graduated from Saint John High School in 1936.
Hazel is survived by her five children: David Coldrick, Linda Slater, Nancy Ternowski, John Coldrick and Susan Irons. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as extended family members.
Hazel loved to write, travel, play the piano and cook. In her 70’s, Hazel travelled across the continent to Australia, Rarotonga as well as multiple family events in Hawaii, Toronto and Vancouver. Her journals were informative, funny and filled with detailed descriptions of every memory and meal. Hazel passed her appreciation of music and cooking on to all of her children.
