Obituary of Joseph Norris McGowan

McGowan, Joseph Norris, 72, of Cornwallis Park, passed away December 9, 2018, in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal.  Born in Moncton New, Brunswick, he was a son of James and Helena (Martin) McGowan.  Joseph enjoyed singing and played several musical instruments.  He is survived by his wife Diane (Comeau) (Simms); sons, James McGowan, Bruce Simms and Steven Simms; daughters, Stacey (Rupert) Williams, Kelly (Danny) Couto; sister, Molly Simms; brother, Victor (Mary) McGowan; half brother, James Weir; 4 granddaughters; 1 grandson; several nieces and nephews.   Following Joseph’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, no visitation or memorial service will be held.  Donations in memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be made at www.kaulbachfamilyfuenralhome.com
