Marshall, Russell Gladstone C.D. 79- Bridgetown. We the family of Russell Marshall are deeply sadden to announce his passing January 13, 2011, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Beaconsfield, he was a son of the late Earle and Hilda (Arsenault) Marshall. He leaves to mourn his wife, Mary Lou (Todd) of 60 years; son, Blake (Karen), Calgary; granddaughter, Denean (Dan); grandson, Marshall; sister, Irene (Aubrey) Patriquin; brothers, Wayne (Carol); Dwight (Judy); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Brian; brother, Roland and sister, Phyllis. He joined the Forces in 1932 and had many postings: Camp Debert, Oromocto, then to Shilo and from there to Fort Lewis, Washington for advanced training before going to Korea. He was then later posted to Kingston, ON where he retired in 1976. After a short time he began working for the Annapolis County School Board as a bus driver for 15 years. He was a great lover of birds and also loved to take his granddaughter fishing and later in life she blessed him with a great-grandson named Marshall. There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m. from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Mark Reece officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Following the service a reception will be held at the Bridgetown Branch # 33 of the Royal Canadian Legion.
