Obituary of Michael Allan Peck

Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Peck, Michael Allan, 30, of Bridgetown NS passed away on September 19th, 2018, at the Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville. Born on August 11th, 1988 in Digby, NS, Michael was the son of Donna and Scott Rice (step father) and Allan Peck. After attending Bridgetown Regional High School, Michael went out west to apprentice as a welder. He worked for several years in Alberta before returning to Nova Scotia. Michael graduated from NSCC with small engine repair.

Michael was a jack-of-all-trades with high ambition. He was a lobster fisherman off of Long Island for several years while doing small engine repair in Annapolis Royal. Michael apprenticed in carpentry. He could build anything, and fix everything. Michael was a wonderful artist who effortlessly sketched beautiful and realistic drawings, and built his own model boats and cars. He was not only naturally artistic, but mathematically inclined as well.

Michael is survived by his parents Donna and Scott Rice, Allan Peck; his 3 daughters Roxanne Jamie Lee, Annabelle Grace, and newborn Selena-Rose Victoria; partner Tracey; his sisters Cecilia (Thor Thurber), Ella (Wyatt Oulton) and Felicia; his step brothers Christopher and Alexander Rice; and paternal grandmother Mary Peck. Michael was a beloved uncle to 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kaulbach Funeral Home, Bridgetown.
