Obituary of Marie Rosalie Vroom

Vroom, Marie “Rosalie” – Deep Brook, Annapolis County.  We deeply regret to announce the passing of our mother on September 5, 2018, in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown.  Born in St. Martin, Digby County, she was the youngest daughter of Mande and Eva Robicheau.  Mum worked for a number of years at C.F.B. Cornwallis.  She loved to dance with the Loretts and passed time knitting.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by daughters, Marie Wheelock, Digby; Eileen Brinton, Marshalltown and Carolyn Vroom, Eastern Passage; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Luke in 1990; grandson David Wheelock; three sisters and seven brothers.  Following mum’s wished there will be no visitation.  Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service.  A funeral service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2018, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Judi Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in Old St. Edwards Cemetery, Clementsport.  Donations made in memory may be sent to Mountain Lea Lodge or charity of choice.
