Obituary of Matthew Thomas Peck

Matthew Thomas Peck – 45, of Greenland, Nova Scotia, passed away suddenly in Digby General Hospital, on May 2, 2018, with his wife/best friend by his side. Born in Digby, he was the son of Joy (Mailman) and the late Homer Peck. Matt loved spending time with his son Jan who was the light of his life. He loved hunting, fishing and four wheeling. Matt treasured the time he spent at camp with his family. He was a kind person who was always there when you needed someone. He had many health issues from the age of 13 and while our hearts are broken he is no longer in pain. He always said Taty and Jan was his reason to keep going. He is survived by his wife/best friend of 15 years Tatjana Peck; son, Jan Peck; mother, Joy; sisters, Jean (Andrew), Rose (Elwood), Rachel (Doug); brother, Tony (Sandra); mother and father-in-law, Viktor and Gabriele; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and extended loving family in Germany. Visitation will be held Sunday 7-9 pm, with a funeral service being held 2 p.m Monday May 7, both from Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Rev.
