Mowry, James Arnold, Clementsport, Annapolis Co., passed away suddenly at Camp Hill Veteran's Memorial Building, QEII Halifax, on January 8, 2011. Born July 26, 1917, in Saint John, N.B., he was a son of the late Ida and Wellington Mowry. He is survived by his children, Sheila (Barry) Cassidy, Jean (Carl) Forrester, James Thomas, all of Bear River, N.S.; Elaine Barnes-Moss of London, Ont.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Muriel Pettie of Saint John, N.B. He was predeceased by his wife Myrtle (Pettie) and a grandchild. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. As per his wishes there will be no memorial service. His ashes will be buried in Saint John at a later date.
