Young, Merle “Bonnie” Cassie-84 formerly of Hampton Beach, spent her remaining days in a seniors residence at 6536 Highway 340, Weaver Settlement, N.S., passed away quietly surrounded by her family at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on November 25, 2017. Born in Hampton ,NS she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Bertha  (Balcomb) Foster of Hampton. Sadly, Bonnie lost her battle with cancer and went home to be with her Lord. As we are all saddened by her passing and we do mourn our loss, we can’t help but be strengthened by her courage in facing death. She was actually singing hymns as she waited for her Saviour. A time of reflection for sure! Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bobby’ Young , Hampton, her parents Charlie and Bertha Foster, brothers: Delbert, Leroy and Burpee and her sister Alice. She was also predeceased, unfortunately by nephews, nieces and great nieces who were taken home much too soon. Bonnie is survived by her sister Deanna (Billy) Young, , Hampton, her three sons Charlie “Chuck” (Lillian) Daniels, North Range, NS; Phillip (Denise) Daniels, Paris, ON; David (Carol) Daniels, Scotland, ON. Grandchildren : Kelly and Stephen of Moncton, NB, Jennifer & Rhonda ,Paris, ON. Tammy, Paris, ON, Tanya, Ingersoll, ON, Jonathan ,Paris, ON, Sally  Tantallon,, Queensland, Amy, Halifax. As well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
