Greg, Bruce and family,
I have fond memories of your Dad during my posting with the RCMP in Bridgetown. He was always in shape and an inspiration to us all. A true gentleman and a pleasure to chat with. He was a frequent spectator to our "gentleman league" games at the rink and frequently offered his advice on how we might improve our game. Improving our game could best be described as a "lost cause"!! A true ambassador for sports and an even better man. Please accept my sincere condolences on his passing.
With sympathy,
Brian Oldford

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you Peggy, and your family. I remember Ed for his passion for sports and his family, especially his grandchildren. Many years ago as a young hockey player at Middleton Regional High , our team was in a league that included grown mens teams from Middleton , Lawrencetown, and Bridgetown. It was pretty intimidating going up against the likes of Eddie, Raymond Longley and the like. Ed will be remembered fondly by many including me

Dear Peg,
Oh my dear, so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. How I loved that man--so gentle, patient and caring. There was never a kinder man. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives. He was so good to Mom and Dad--they could not have lived the way they wanted without him. I'm sorry we can't be with you. We have just moved to Montreal to be closer to our kids and to help babysit our grandson while Tessa starts her Ph.d. It happened so fast-- just over a month ago we decided, sold the house and moved. We're still catching our breath! But our thoughts are with you all. Love, Heather & Greg
