Obituary of Vesta Jean Bent

Bent, Vesta Jean, 84 of Beaconsfield passed away April 25, 2017 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Beaconsfield she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Stella (Taylor) Ring. Vesta was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed having her family around her. Vesta loved doing puzzles, watching her favorite games shows and solving crossword puzzles. Vesta’s cats were very special to her. She worked at the Textile factory in Bridgetown and then for many years ran the canteen at United Elastic Limited. Vesta was a member of the Bridgetown Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Patricia Stobie of Dartmouth; son, Myles (Katie) of Paradise; grandson, Michael (Debbie) Stobie of Lake Echo; granddaughter, Heather (Shawn) Lowrey of Hubbards; grandson, Evan (Nicki) Morse of Cambridge; great grandchildren: Tristen Stobie, Abbey Morse and Marshall Morse; Aunt, Hattie Taylor and several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Perry. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. No visiting by request. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday from the Bridgetown Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the Hampton Cemetery.
