Obituary of Marion Louise Inglis

Inglis, Marion Louise, 99 of Tupperville, passed away peacefully April 23, 2017 in Bridgetown. Born March 23,1918 in Waldec East, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of the late Letea and Harry Potter. She was predeceased by her husband and childhood sweetheart James Carmen Inglis. She is survived by her sister Irene potter , children Joan (Roland) Saxon of Middleton , James (Loretta) Inglis of Tupperville, Janie (Alan) Barkhouse of Upper Granville, many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as special person Janice Pisko. Nicknamed “The Queen of Tupperville” she was a strong figure within the community, and an avid farmer. She was a member of The Women’s Institute , Annapolis Ventures, Annapolis Royal Farmers Market, Tourism Industry of Nova Scotia, Annapolis valley exhibition, Tupperville School Museum and Associated Country Women of the World. She enjoyed dancing, travelling and gatherings with friends and family. Family would like to extend their Deepest thanks to Tammy and Frank Havenga of Bridgetown. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening at Marion’s home at 2611 Highway #201 Tupperville. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Tupperville Gathering Place formerly the Wesley United Church, Tupperville with Paul Saxon officiating. Burial will be in the Round Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Tupperville School Museum. On line condolences may be sent to www.kaulbachfamilyfuneralhome.com
