Obituary of Lorayne Alice Stokes

Stokes, Lorayne (Rena) Alice – 85, of Cornwallis passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 at Soldiers Memorial Hospital. Lorayne was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, to Norman and Alice (Stankard) Buckley on February 28, 1932. Lorayne was married to William (Mel) Stokes for 45 years. Lorayne is survived by her children Kathy (Ken) Trimper of Bear River East, John (Maria) Stokes of Lantzville B.C., Lorayne (Ron) Cress of Virginia, Dena McDonell of Dartmouth, Marilyn (Allan) Browne of Bellair Bluffs, Florida; grandchildren, Tony Trimper, Melodie DeGrass, Corey Trimper, Sarah Stokes, William Stokes, Carrie Cress, Sheryl Morin, Jennifer Weir, Michelle Brown, Laura Toole, Lindsey Rowe, Lisa Ehler, Hannah Holland; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Sister Muriel Buckley, Diane Posheluk, Paula (Blair) McHugh. Lorayne was predeceased by her husband Mel, son-in-law, Don McDonell, brother-in-law, Bill Posheluk, sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Vern MacKinnon, and  grandson, Jason Trimper.
