Obituary of Josie Louise Wright

Wright (Oickle) Josie – 100 years of Clementsvale passed away peacefully on January 4, 2017 at Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born March 22, 1916, in Greenland, NS. Daughter of the late Enos Oickle and Gertrude (Berry) Oickle. She was saved by God’s grace January 18, 1965. She was a member of the Gospel Hall, Clementsvale for 51 years. Generous and loyal to all of her friends and neighbours, Josie was an independent and quick witted woman, who was always true to herself and those around her. She was a loving and supportive mother and grandmother, always full of ambition. She enjoyed travelling and visited Ontario, England, and Prince Edward Island many times. Josie is survived by her five children, Donald (Joan) Wright, Marie (Alfred) Ackie, Louise Claridge, Diane (Steve) Robinson, and Pamela (Andrew) Mackenzie; ten grandchildren, Stanley (Shirley), Matthew (Natasha), Jonathan, Roxane (Fabio), Robin (Joel), Thomas (Nicole), Marcus (Kaitlyn), Timothy (Christine), Hannah and Justin; seven great grandchildren, Tina, Lauren, Vanessa, Marco, Spencer, Chloe, Micah; two great great grandchildren, Kylee-Rae and Kalen; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Leroy Wright; an infant son, Billy; two sisters, Alice and Viola, two brothers, Harry and Raymond. She was the last surviving member of her family. The family extends an invitation to the visitation on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11am at the Gospel Hall, Clementsvale with Mr. David Cress officiating, assisted by Mr. Timothy Mackenzie. Burial in Clementsvale cemetery.
