Obituary of Mildred "Millie" Charlotte Woodworth

Please share a memory of Mildred "Millie" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Woodworth, Mildred “Millie” Charlotte - 104, of Annapolis Royal, formerly of Upper Clements, passed away peacefully in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, Annapolis Royal. Born in Upper Clements, in 1911, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Emily (Farnell) Hardwick. Millie lived her life by the mottos “Work Hard”, “Think Positive” and “Be strong”. She was a very strong, independent, amazing lady who was loved by all. Being a very active community member, she was always involved with the Upper Clements Community Hall, a member of the Rebecca’s and a part of the St. Edwards Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, baking, knitting, and quilt making. She was an incredible seamstress and could make just about anything. Millie’s special place was the cottage at which she loved spending time. The only thing she enjoyed more was the time she spent with her children and other family members. A mom, nanny, gran, nana and friend to many has now gone to be a guardian angel to watch over us all. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Beeler-Pyne (Harold) of Smiths Cove and Kathy Woodworth-Warrick of Cornwallis; son, Irving (Shirley) Woodworth of Upper Clements; grandchildren, Christine (Wes) Alexander, Allison (Elliott) Geskin, Dale (Crystal) Sarty, Dennison (Laura) Sarty, Deborah Butler (Dwane); step grandchildren, Deborah, Holly, Brenda, Veronica, Kelly, Kim, Bill; great grandchildren, Aria, Ava, Hailey, Logan, Branden, Taylor, Danielle, Densasia, Shyra, Skyler; step great grandchildren, Krista, DJ, Ryan, Matthew, Stacy, Chantle, Ross, Brittany, Megan, Brandon, Marshall; great great grandchildren, Ryder, Aryah, Quinten, Blaine; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon; sisters, Vera and Ruth; brother, Percy. A visitation will be held 7-9 pm Thursday, August 18, from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with a funeral service being held 2:00 pm Friday, August 19 from the St. Edwards Anglican Church, Clementsport, with Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Burial will follow in Old St. Edwards Cemetery, Clementsport. Family flowers only. Donations in Millie’s memory may be made to Upper Clements Community Hall, Annapolis Royal Nursing Home, St. Edwards Church or charity of choice.
