It is with a sorrowful heart we have to announce the sudden death of (William) Bill Smith of Upper Granville, N.S., on Monday, May 30 at his home. He was a sailor by heart but spent many years in Alberta working in the Steel Industry, where he was highly respected. He has left behind his wife, Kathy; daughter, Jenny (Dave); one sister in BC and two sisters in the UK; Several nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service. There will be a remembrance gathering at a later date, where we can share happy memories. Donations in Bill’s memory may be sent to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
