Dear David,
I'm so sorry to hear that you are gone. You were a great friend when we were boys at Chefoo School in Kuling.
But you have now realized our hope of Heaven. See you there!

Our condolences for your loss. We met David through the King's Theatre here in Annapolis Royal. David and I (Ted) were on the Theatre's board of directors.
We remember David fondly, a man who always had a twinkle in his eyes and a friendly greeting.

I wish to offer sincere condolences to all family members. A Royal Consort choir was something he enjoyed, as many other singers from this area, and myself also.

On behalf of the Christian Associates International family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was shocked and saddened to learn of David's passing. I met him as a member of A Royal Consort and got to know him better as we drove to Executive meetings. He was so interested in community organizations and his schedule seemed to be very full. I will miss seeing him on his way to the grocery store, library or out for a coffee. A fine gentleman. RIP David.

My condolences go to the family of David Grant at the death of their husband, father, grandfather and friend. I had not seen David for many years, but we shared some time together at the Chefoo School in China, and i have been a friend of his brother Ian for a number of years now. I have known the Grant family from childhood, and it feels as if David too has been a part of my family. I am sure that David in his life has blessed many lives and passed gifts to his children an grandchildren. Your friend from Toronto and China days, NORMAN AUSTIN

I am sorry for your loss. I arrived at the Detenbech Memorial Home in August 1956. That was about the time that David left but I do remember seeing him on several occasions over my early years at the hospital. He was a young adult and I a young child. My heart goes out to Grant and Ken, the family members that I know, as well as David's family that I don't know.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of David's passing! I had only met David a couple years ago when I became a member of A Royal Consort. I found him to be such a quiet and gentle soul with a lovely smile. For part of a singing season we sat next to one another. Occasionally, when I was in Annapolis Royal, I'd see David out walking and I'd wave a cheery greeting.
On Mother's Day, A Royal Consort will be performing "Singing in the Rain". We will surely all lift our voices in tribute to David & his contribution in forming this community choir of Annapolis Royal. Thank you, David for your appreciation and commitment to choral music.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the family of David Grant. I had the pleasure of working with David in the Assessment Office in Annapolis Royal quite a few years ago and met up with him occasionally here and there in Cornwallis Park and Annapolis Royal. We enjoyed a few good chats and I'm going to miss seeing him around. God bless you all at this difficult time.
