Wear, Bonnie Edna - of Upper Clements, Annapolis Co. It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bonnie Edna Wear announces her sudden passing at home on July 04, 2011, after 11 month battle with cancer. Born in Barrie Ontario, on February 12, 1948, she was a daughter of the late C.M Boyd and Edna Victoria (Urry) Boyd. Bonnie took nursing and graduated from Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia with her RN in 1970 and worked at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie. She married the love of her life on September 05, 1970 and resided in Barrie until 1989 when they moved to Upper Clements. Surviving is her husband, Terry Wear; son, Arron (Carmella) Wear; grandchildren, Haylee (9), Marshall (2); daughter, Lisa (Rick) Kelly; grandchildren, Owen (4) and Thomas (2 weeks); mother in-law, Nina Wear; aunt, Betty Sheahan; brother, Larry (Donna) Boyd; sisters, Karen (Car) Coughlin and Judy (Lynn) Smith, all of Barrie Ontario; many nieces and nephews. Bonnie enjoyed being in the kitchen cooking for the family, spending time in her gardens and with her animals and doing everything with her grandchildren who were her biggest pride and joy always putting a smile on her face. Bonnie enjoyed working with the public at the Lequille Country Store for 20 years and ended every day with a story to tell. She was generous with her time, kind, caring and more concerned about others than herself. She was longing to be able to meet and hold her newest grandson, Thomas, who will learn of Bonnie's love through family memories. For the past 11 months Bonnie was able to live her life to the fullest in spite of her illness. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family from Ontario, which gave her strength. At Bonnie's request her family will be celebrating her life with close friends. No flowers. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
