Hiltz, Jean (McGill) - Age 92 of Halifax and formerly of Upper Clements died peacefully at the Abbie J. Lane Hospital, Halifax on March 16, 2016. Born in Bonhill, Scotland, she the daughter of the late Jean McGill and Colin Campbell. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Albert and daughter, Heather. She was member of St. Edward’s Anglican Church for over 65 years. Jean was a war bride and a member of the church’s guild for many years. She loved to bake and do embroidery. Jean is survived by her sons, Michael (Alan), Halifax; Donald and Derick, Bomanville, ON, grandson, Colin, Bomanville and granddaughter, Ashley, Mississauga, ON. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. Memorial service to take place Monday, March 21, 2016 at 2 PM from St. Edward’s Anglican Church, Clementsport with Rev. Gordon Neish officiating. Interment to take place at Old St. Edward’s Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Clementsport Legion. Family flowers only. Donations in Jean’s memory may be made to charity of one’s choice. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses, 9th Floor of the Abbie J. Lane Hospital for their excellent care given to Jean.
