Obituary of Barrie Wilfred Bent

Bent, Barrie Wilfred – Eldest son of the late Wilfred Louis Bent and Thelma Pearl (Marshall) Bent passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016. He was a member of the Bridgetown Baptist Church. Barrie was a Journeyman Carpenter and was best known for his woodworking and tinkering with old engines, tractors or anything else that took his fancy. The beautiful crafted furniture he built as well as the family cabin is his legacy to his family. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debra Mary (Wile) Bent; son, Barrie Wilfred Bent Jr; daughter, Candy Lee Bent; granddaughter, Alyssa Dawn Bent; grandson, Alexander Ryan Bent. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bridgetown where visitation will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 7-9 PM. Funeral service followed by a time of fellowship will be held at the Bridgetown Baptist Church on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2 PM with Rev. Brian Wallace officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Donations in Barrie’s memory may be made to charity of choice.
