Abbott, John “Jack” Francis, 74 of Clementsvale passed away January 4, 2016 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born July 11, 1941 in Glencoe, Ontario he was a son Arthur Stapledon and the late Mildred (Massey) Stapledon of Michigan. Jack served 21 years in the Canadian Air Force at Trenton, and North Bay, Ont, Cornwallis and St. John’s , Newfoundland. He is survived by his wife Nancy (Tobin) ; daughter Tracy, son James (Karen) and five grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. No service by request. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the dedicated staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital ‘s Mayflower Unit in Middleton and Mountain Lea Lodge In Bridgetown for their care and support and also to the staff at the Annapolis Community Health Center.
