Smith, Gloria Eileen, 80, of Annapolis Royal, passed away suddenly December 8, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Annapolis Royal, she was a daughter of the late Vesta (McGrath) and Orbin Everett. Gloria was loved by her family. When she was younger she enjoyed working at Mildford House and at Casey’s Fisheries in Victoria Beach. She loved watching wrestling, bingo, crossword puzzles, watching TV and listening to music. She is survived by her children, Debbie, Dartmouth; Larry (Doreen), Victoria Beach; Gerald (Cheryl), Deep Brook; Robert (Leah), Delaps Cove; Peter, Deep Brook and David (Gail), Kingston; 11 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Chester Joseph Smith; sister, Kathleen; brothers, Clinton Everett and Eugene Everett; step brothers, Dougie Foley and Austin Foley. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Friday, December 11, 2015, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, December 15, 2015, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Elizabeth Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Peace Cemetery, Victoria Beach. Donations in memory may be sent to VON. The family wishes to say a very special Thank-you to all the VON and Paramedics.
