To the family of Bill Geddes, I am Bill's 1st cousin. Although I only met him once at my Uncle Elmer Gahan's wake, I have heard of him and his family for many years through Beryl Gay (his sister). The ages of family members have made connections difficult but I am sad to lose another family member. Wishing the family peace to soothe you, grace to hold you, love to comfort you, and happy memories to ease your pain. These transitions are an unavoidable part of our lives. I can say that half a century ago, I was good friends with Chris. It was very difficult for me to hear of his sudden death while my family and I lived in BC. Lois and I visit his gravesite when I go to to pay respects to my father and two brothers. Later, I enjoyed stopping at Shoppers and Smiths to say hi to Chris' parents. This quiet man had a great life of military service, a responsible professional and family life and and the opportunity to see the promise of the future in his grandchildren. As a retired military member myself, I salute him!
