Obituary of Roberta Marie Trimper

Trimper, Roberta Marie, 83- of Annapolis Royal, passed away June 4, 2015, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bear River East, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Evva (Clarke) Sanford. Roberta was a former member of the Wesleyan Church, Digby and the Clementsvale Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school in Bear River East and Clementsvale; was a life member of the UBC. For many years she worked with her husband in the family meat business and later in CFB Cornwallis. Roberta was an adherent of the First United Baptist Church of Annapolis Royal. She loved the outdoors. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Kathleen), Bear River East, Wilbur Jr., Digby and Garnet (Cynthia), Mount Uniacke; daughters, Nancy (Daniel) Auby, Waldec; Christine (James) Cress, Clementsvale and Linda Stanton, Clementsport; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Ola Carey, Margaretsville. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur; grandsons, Calvin Auby and Jason Trimper; infant brother, Leslie; sisters, Joyce and Vera. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday, June 9, in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Annapolis Royal. A funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, June 10, in the Wesleyan Church, 84 Victoria Street, Digby. Rev. Andrew Maves officiating, assisted by Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Lagassie. Burial will follow in Clementsvale Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in Roberta’s memory may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
