Obituary of JoAnn Bliss Franklin

Franklin, JoAnn Bliss - 56, of South Williamston, died November 16, 2014 in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital, Middleton, following her battle with cancer. Born February 4, 1958, she was the only daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Pothier) Ernst, Bridgetown. JoAnn enjoyed quilting, ‘Farm Town’, finding a deal at local Yard Sales, and truly possessed a “green thumb”. She is survived by daughters, Tammy Ernst- White, son-in-law, Derek, and grandson, Matthew of St. Stephen, NB, Christine Josey and grandchildren, Hannah and Xander of Hillsburn; brothers, Russell (Brenda) Ernst of Carlton Corner, John (Cheryl) of Centreville, Kings County; nieces, Carrie and Amanda. JoAnn is Also Survived by her loyal and dedicated friend, Barb (Kevin) Mahar of South Williamston. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Visitation will be held 7-9 pm Friday, November 21, at the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown where a memorial service will also be held 2:00 pm Saturday, with Rev. Gordon Delaney officiating.
