Young, Kenneth DeWayne, 57, of Youngs Cove, Anna. Co., passed away December 1, 2010 in the QEII Health Sciences Center, Halifax. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was a son of the late Kenneth Gordon and Nema (Gregory) Young. Kenneth was a carpenter for many years. He was an active member of the Parkers Cove Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors especially four wheeling, snowshoeing and walks to the shore. He is survived by sisters, Vicki (Ricky) Hudson, of Parkers Cove; Wendy (Paul) Sarty of Youngs Cove; Hilda Hebb of Port Royal; brother, Bruce of Youngs Cove; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Parkers Cove Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating. Interment will be in the Old St. Edwards Cemetery, Clementsport. Donations in Kenneth's memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society.
