Gregory, David Allan - 61, of Kentville, Kings Co., passed away November 20, 2010, at home with his loving wife by his side. Born on November 30, 1948, in Middleton, he was a son of the late Otis and Hilda (Vidito) Gregory. David was a hard worker, he worked in the woods, construction, fishing, looked after horses in the winter. The last four years he was a Captain on the Theodore Tugboat, Halifax. David loved this job very much and enjoyed the children who came for a ride on Theodore. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Marie (Leopold), Kentville; children, Kimberly (Michael) MacAlpine, Fall River; Charlene (Russell) Olsen, Clementsvale; grandchildren, Amanda MacAlpine and Brandon Milbury; step-grandchildren, Jill, Zack and Laura Olsen; brother, Bruce (Marsha), Parkers Cove; sister, Ena Faye, Kentville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother in infancy and brother, Harris Morton; son-in-law, Devin Milbury. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. Visitation will be held Wednesday 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday both from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown with Rev. Jack Carter officiating. A reception will follow.
