Eunice "Blanche" Taylor, 91 of Bridgetown passed away November 17, 2010 in Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown where she lived for the last 16 years. Born in Litchfield she was a daughter of the late Charles and Adellas ( Milbury) Turner. In spite of having polio as a teenager she later worked at the Rainbow Gardens Restaurant in Bridgetown. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Blanche was always willing to support local organizations with her generous donations of baked goods. Her grandchildren and great granddaughter were very special to her. She is survived by daughters: Sheila (Brian) Taylor of Carlton Corner and their children Robbie and Heather; Irene (Earl) Randall of Bayfield and their children Kathleen, Mark and Krista; Anna (Rick) Clark of Upper Granville and their children Emily (Fred) Gardner, Matthew (Meredith) and great granddaughter Bronwyn; sisters: Olive Benway of Maine, Rowena Weekes of Annapolis Royal, Virginia (Leon) Robertson of Dartmouth and Esther (Edwin) Guest of Annapolis Royal She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, infant son David, granddaughter Laura Clark, sisters: Patricia, Betty Durling, Muriel Armstrong; brothers; Marvin, Marshall, Stuart, Leamon and LeRoy. There will no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday from St. James Anglican Church, Bridgetown with Rev. Liz Earley officiating. Burial will be in St. James Anglican Cemetery. Donations in Blanche's memory may be sent to St. James Anglican Church or to Mountain Lea Lodge. The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain Lea Lodge for the loving care they provided Blanche during her years with them.
