Potter, Arnold Franklin, 84, of Clementsvale passed away October 7, 2010 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Clementsvale he was the eldest son of the late Roland and Catherine(Amero) Potter. He enjoyed and attended the horse and ox pulls, and local exhibitions. In earlier years he had his own oxen and pulled them in exhibitions. He was a faithful volunteer at the Clementsvale and District Recreation Hall. He was predeceased by brothers Alfred and Oscar, his long time companion June McGowan. He is survived by brothers: Cecil of Clementsvale and Percy of Deep Brook, Roland Jr. of Clementsvale; sisters: Evangeline Wamboldt of Clementsvale, and Georgina York of New Brunswick, several nieces and nephews, also his late companion's children: Maureen Lincoln, Clementsvale, Cindy McGowan , Cornwallis, Tom McGowan, Clementsvale and Tim McGowan , Halifax Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday from the Clementsvale Baptist Church with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Clementsvale Cemetery.
